Class III

Since 2021-22, DAV Nursery School has added class 3 to its bouquet of classes. In class III, the school follows the prescribed CBSE curriculum while using the books provided by the DAV Education Board. The following subjects are covered under the curriculum:

2. Hindi
3. Mathematics
4. Social Studies
5. General Science
6. General Knowledge
7. Computers
8. Dharam Shiksha
9. Art and Craft

Keeping up with the philosophy of education at DAV Nursery School, learning for class 3 students is participative, experiential and discovery-based. Strong emphasis is laid on the development of speaking, reading and writing skills along with a scientific temperament and thinking skills.

System of Examinations

For class 3 students, two unit tests, one half- yearly examination and one annual examination are conducted during the year. The schedule for the same is as follows:

Unit Test 1- May

Unit Test 2 - August

Half Yearly Examination- September

Unit Test 3- November

Unit Test 4 - January

Annual Examination- March

Additionally, internal assessment activities are also taken to assess the development of core competancies.
